Three influential organisations, India Accelerator, ICICI Bank & Infosys Finacle, have come to fuel the initiative i3 Launchpad to accelerate early-stage startup ventures.

About the Program

The confluence of India Accelerator, the experience of accelerating 150+ startups; ICICI Bank, a leading private sector bank in India; and Infosys Finacle, an industry leader in digital banking solutions has brought a program with a special focus on enabling strategic partnerships, mentor guidance and market access by leveraging corporate collaboration and connections.

The objective of the i3 Launchpad program is to have a structured path to traction, business development and fundraising by providing all the ingredients in one place. i3 Launchpad, takes place twice a year, with each cohort targeting to include 12 to 18 startups for the program duration of 4 months. What i3 Launchpad offers

Capital

We provide investment support and offer you the right investor connections for funds by leveraging our iAngels Network (with 1400+ angels), Finvolve (our B2B network for startup investments) and partnership with VCs, Micro VCs, PEs, IBs and Angel Networks. With it, we also ensure that you are trained and confident in terms of investor preparedness, deal flow, and compliance-ready for your funding.

Competency

This is where the heavy lifting of mentorship happens. We bring in a large pool of mentors to build competency in areas of opportunity acting as levers for targeted business growth. We have a three-way mentorship lens: Functional, Domain and Business Model. It is an outcome-focused effort driven using experience-sharing sessions and workshops with experts. You will work closely with mentors and subject matter experts from India Accelerator, ICICI Bank and Infosys Finacle to make tangible progress towards building your startup.

IA’s mentor network and partners (like GAN, investor network, govt., academia etc.) bolstered by a strong ecosystem of partners and clients from ICICI Bank and Infosys Finacle will offer a plentitude of opportunities to grow your revenues, create impact, expand your network and explore other synergies.

Community

You’ll be able to learn, grow and share the journey with fellow founders from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We will leverage the community platforms and events by India Accelerator to generate internal business between portfolio companies.

How do you choose which startups to accept into the program?

We follow a structured approach for identifying startups which we believe have the potential to grow exponentially and solve real problems. We also look at the industry (must be in the provided sectors/focus areas) that your startup operates in, the market readiness of your technology product and vision planning for your future growth. As part of the assessment process, we evaluate and take feedback from relevant subject matter experts, and our selection committee members to help make sure we are accepting the right startup.

How can we get funded after we are selected for the i3 Launchpad program?

We provide investment support and offer you the right investor connections for funds by leveraging our network of VCs, Micro VCs, PEs, IBs and Angel Networks. With it, we also ensure that you are trained and confident in terms of investor preparedness, deal flow, and compliance-ready for your funding.

What are some of the additional perks that the i3 Launchpad provides?

What are the terms and conditions of granting equity to India Accelerator?

We want to be viewed as a co-founder. In a nutshell, we don’t want any special or controlling interests in your company. We won’t ask for a board seat or any uncommon investor rights. You are the boss and will continue to run the show. We just want to be the enabler to your success, to provide you with the escape velocity needed to be launched successfully!
